(Monterosso al Mare – 11 Feb. 2018). We’re so excited to have Altra Running and GORE RUNNING WEAR athlete Amanda Basham (Amanda Basham) at the starting line of Sciacchetrail 2018. After winning her first ever ultra trail race (a 50k) a few years ago, she has continued to excel at races of all distances, including a win at the USATF 50 Mile Trail Championships in 2015, 4th at the prestigious Western States 100 in 2016, and a top 20 finish at the highly competitive 2017 UTMB. In 2017 she won several US races including the Ultra Race of Champions 100k. She started out the 2018 season with a second place finish at the Tarawera Ultramarathon 100K in New Zealand. In addition to running professionally, Amanda also runs her own coaching business and works full time for iFit. She lives and trains in Logan, Utah, USA.
