On the Trail to Sciacchetrail – Enrico Casarosa

🇺🇸This year Sciacchetrail has an extra special guest. Storyboard artist and film director Enrico Casarosa @enricocasa grew up in nearby Genova and in his twenties moved to the United States. Since 2002 he has worked at @pixar , and last year he made his feature-length directorial debut with the animated film “Luca”. It is a coming-of-age story inspired by his own childhood spent on the Italian Riviera beaches, set in the fictional town of Portorosso, the design for which was influenced by the Cinque Terre villages. The film has won several awards and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. After the Oscar Ceremony Enrico will return to his homeland of Italy to run Sciacchetrail.
