On the Trail to Sciacchetrail – Luzia Buehler

Swiss ultra runner Luzia Buehler is another elite athlete who was on the start list for Sciacchetrail 2020.

After 2 years of having to cancel our race due to Covid, she’s now coming in 2022.

In those two years she had some outstanding race performances, including a win at the Sean O’Brien 100k (and 6th overall) and 5th at the world’s most competitive ultra trail race, UTMB.

She also won The Georgia Death Race in 2019, gaining entry with a Golden Ticket to the Western States Endurance Run 100 miler, where she finished in 11th place.
