Sciacchetrail selected by OUTDOOR EXPO among the best projects of innovation and sustainability of Italian tourist destinations.

Yesterday, upon opening our email, we had a pleasant surprise: Sciacchetrail has been nominated for the #WINNING IDEAS award at the new Outdoor Expo scheduled for 2-3-4 March in Bologna. It is a recognition of the best projects, innovation and sustainability of Italian tourist destinations, selected by an expert jury.

SUSTAINABILITY, economy, social, enviroment, but above all culture. New values that qualify the territory.  This is the category in which Sciacchetrail has been inserted.

Friday, March 2nd during the expo there will be an awards ceremony for the various categories, for which we have been invited to participate.

If you know Sciacchetrail, if you have experienced it and appreciated it as an athlete, a volunteer or spectator, or if you simply share our values and love our territory, starting from WEDNESDAY, February 28th, at 6:00pm, for a period of 24 hours, VOTE FOR US on the facebook page of the Outdoor Expo   

All that remains is to thank you for your support and to cross our fingers. In any case we invite you to Monterosso on March 24th and 25th for the 4th edition of Sciacchetrail to celebrate with us.

 

OUTDOOR EXPO rewards the best projects, innovation, and sustainability of Italian tourist destinations. 

What makes a tourist destination attractive? And what, instead, makes it so desirable that it entices you to return? The two determining factors are the ability to maintain a high standard of quality and quantity  of what is offered as well as to innovate giving life to new ideas and proposals.

For destinations, companies, and local projects, a continuous creative movement is required,  able to generate a multiplicity of actions aimed at promoting the territory without, at the same time, distorting its identity.

Authenticity of places and contact with nature; traditions and originality; sustainability and innovation; cultural initiatives, food and wine itineraries and sport are the themes of the ideal vacation, and the conducting threads of the first edition of #WINNING IDEAS Outdoor Awards – a project launched by BolognaFiere, organized by OMNIA Relations.

The context is that of the new Outdoor Expo which, focusing on the growing sector of the Outdoor world and on the increased sensitivity to issues related to nature, has been designed to represent a privileged showcase for all those who love sport and outdoor life, also becoming a promoter of the culture of creativity in the tourism industry.

New and original acknowledgments in the national panorama, the #WINNING IDEAS Outdoor Awards were created following a path of careful research and analysis of the driving and determining factors of the “travel experience”. A journey that, thanks to the collaboration with important players operating in the tourism industry (GIST, AICA, AIFB, Legambiente, Startup Turismo, Formica Blu, RCS Sport, ADUTEI), has allowed us to discover, enhance, and finally reward the best projects, innovation and sustainability of Italian tourist destinations.

7 categories in competition.  143 projects collected overall.

7 expert jury members – flanked by a public jury that from 22 to 28 february can actively give their contribution by voting for their preferred candidate on the Facebook page of Outdoor Expo – will select a “winning idea” for each category, which will be officially awarded on Friday March 2nd at 5:00pm at Hall 25-26 of the Fiera di Bologna.
